You Are An Intro-Extrovert!
Sometimes you're social - sometimes you're shy
You've got a bit of an Introvert / Extrovert split going on
You enjoy all sorts of situations. Parties, small groups, and alone time.
Too much of one, and you'll long for the other. You need varity!
Chances are, you've got both serious and fun friends - and they don't get along.
You Are 56% Girly
You're a little girly, a little boyish, and probably a whole lot indie.
You have your own unique style, and it pretty much defies gender lines.

for all those ppl who say i'm ultra girly... there, its in writing! :D

hey there! sorri its been so long since i've written... most ppl have switched to myspace but I'm too lazy at the moment so I will post here.... so much has happened so i'll try my best to get u up to date on whats been going on in my life for those nosy ppl out there :P

* went to DFO near the airport with Auntie Eunice, Nae, Melcer and Slug.  Quite good, though I was really tired coz we walked around the whole place in 3 hrs. [JayJays hoodie and singlet top- $15, JustJeans summer 'petit fleur' dress- $30].  Melcer was the overall winner, making at least 10 purchases :D

*I went to DFO Cheltham AGAIN... lols don't laugh!  it was so I could buy this party dress @ Dotti that we had seen in at the DFO near the airport where they didn't have my size. [aqua party dress -$20, 1 cream wrap- $12, 1 pair of pink shorts- $5, 1 pair of 3/4 pants- $5 and my first pair of sunnies- $10 ]

*COWES

OK, despite only spending 2 days there, it was sooooooo much fun just relaxing and hanging out togther with friends ^^

~ went to the beach heaps

~ played RISK!!!!!! omgosh, that is such a good game, RISK is so on my wish list for Christmas!  Never knew world domination could be so entertaining!!! :D

~ food was always delicious, can't believe I scored such great friends who are also great cooks as well

~ watched movies ('She's the Man' and 'Bride and Prejudice') love Duke and Darcy!!!!

* went to Caitlan's and Mel's 18ths.  FINZ and OKRA were such good restaurants...mmmmmm

* picnic/beach/park joint activities with Jae's church GO REDS!!!! it was pretty unfair though, coz our team got most of the little kids who didn't really know how to do much except look cute :P lols, awwww still love them though...

* heaps of rehearsals for Scots Church Carols Service and Speech Night

* buying Christmas presents for teachers

*SATURDAY 2nd DECEMBER*

Co Oanh's wedding!!!! started 30 mins late (well, what can u expect :P), very beautifully decorated and of course the very beautiful bride came in a gloriously gorgeous white dress.

i had to take charge of the sound system at the last minute but i think it worked out not tooo badly

this guy, Tommy was the amazing pianist who played for the wedding ceremony.  all played by ear, i was like WOW, so much in awe :P

stayed until the very end coz of the clean up...

WEDDING RECEPTION- pretty of course, very intimate setting

~ wore my yr 12 formal dress

~ was promoted to sit at an adult's table (normally assigned to sit with the little kids!).  but the people at my table were all seated as couples so I felt awkward and returned to a kid's table.  sorri if it doesn't make sense XD

~ met my friend Bec's younger sister, Katy/Katie... soooooo much like Bec!  in mannerism and personality :)

~ heading to Grad @ 8:15pm (still no sign of food at the wedding reception at this time...)

~ the decorations were amazing!  the live band was awesome!!!! the singer had such a lovely and powerful voice... we danced badly (well i did), ate OK food, took tonnes of photos (mostly on other ppl's cameras), feet got sooooo sore and I nearly slipped when getting the present from Mrs Collins!

~ got home at @ 1 am

SUNDAY- church, church and church :D have to take over anh Huy's class now that he's on his honeymoon... lols the kids should be scared... mwahahahaha... what should i make them do???

MONDAY - rehearsal @ Hamer Hall for Speech Night ( was so late getting there, kept smsing Alice :P)

~ hehehe every1 loved my 'petit fleur' summer dress ^^

~ had lunch with Miss Friend and L'Lyre @ Southbank... mmmm Nandos...

~ took train to Box Hill with Ada where I met Dad and the grandparents to go home, have a snooze then head out to our last and final Speech Night....

~ Speeches not too long thankfully.  GO ROMY!!!  Balmoral won the College Cup.  Wind Symph, Melba (still didn't know the harmony 'oooo' parts but I think I faked it good ), Orchestra, Medley (so much fun, Ross dressed as MJ!), School Song ( very sentimental, and being my emotional self, I got teary at the end) then hugs, Patchworks and farewells for the final time...

~ took a detour and had supper at "Kam Bo" with parents

~ then sleep......

I think that about sums it up in a nutshell.... well a very big nutshell :P and can u believe that exams were only 2 weeks ago? seems like we've been on holidays for months...

anyhow, just at home today catching up on all the things that I've neglected (eg. blogging, uploading photos and what not)

take care to all the bugs heading overseas and all the ppl staying in melb... love u all heaps and we MUST keep in touch, ok?

luv, amy

new layout.

hey all! WHOOPIE!!! i'm free from VCE!!! XD

whoa, its been way too long since i've updated, but i thought that since i realli have nothing pressing to do, no where to be, this would be a perfect opportunity to tell u abt my post-VCE activities...

extracts from personal journal, with added commentry:  Thursday Nov 16th 2006, 10:05pm

O wow! Its been nearly 12 hours, since I put down my pen for the last time in a VCE exam; the last time I write my student number (in digits AND words!) in those little boxes where I never seem to be able to fit the word 'eight'... lols

Anyway, I'm free and it feels great :) it hasn't completely sunk in though, so relieved its all over, yay, go me!

the music exam, was fairly easy in the aural section but I was a bit pushed for time doing the written answers and didn't get to check my mistakes, o well. considering i only got 5 hrs of sleep as a result of studying until 2am, i think i did ok! the late night was worth it i think.

12:30pm

ok, back from channel surfing.  I'm kinda annoyed atm.  found out just before that Samuel's been downloading videos from YouTube this whole month and we'ver gone over our limit, now the net is dead slow, its unbearable >.< this realli teaches you to appreciate broadband!  now i have to wait until next month to download all the shows i've been dying to watch but never had the freedom to. is this a good thing or a bad thing?  maybe i'll get more time to do other things... hmmm... still pretty annoyed :P

alrite, my day after completing VCE studies:

first met my Anna and Lisa (she had the day off from school) at Pet Paradise in melb central (the puppies are so gorgeous!!!) where we walked around a bit into random shops (i'm never going in2 Miss Sixty again, so darn expensive!) b4 Dad graciously drove us to Chapel St where we were hoping to find bargains at the KOOKAI Clearance Sale.  We had walk pretty far as it was in a side street off Toorak, but then we saw the big pink sign KOOKAI CLEARANCE SALE and we got sooooo excited!!! :D

ok i'm not going to go in2 how bad it was (it was in a makeshift tent for crying out loud!) but we were bitterly disappointed!  there was hardly anything worth buying there, deverstated is probably the right word to describe our feelings...

so as three deflated shopping enthusiasts dragged their feet out the 'flap' of the clearance tent, the decision was made to travel to DFO in Cheltnham (can't spell it or say it :P).  Took a tram, train, bus and walked, getting losted, finding our way again and 40 mins later, DFO, shopper's heaven!!!! :D lols i'm seriously not that addicted to shopping but it had been almost a year since I'd gone out for proper retail theraoy! anna and I were crazy, when we saw it we were began screaming out heads off (lucky there was no one except lisa to hear us!)

.... whoa, it was so worth it!  the 'major coolness' factor was when my mum called and said I only needed to be back at box hill at 6:30pm so we could shop for longer

hehe I must list all my wonderful purchases:

1) Mossimo Tank Top - $20 down from $35 (not that great a buy, but it was a brand name and it was the first item I bought to shake off the disappointment of KOOKAI)

from Dotti-

2) cute pink vest -$10 anna got one two *hi5!

3) black and white striped vest -$10 down from $50

4) ChiChi eye palette -$10 from $16.95

from JustJeans-

5) red mini vest (didnt realise how many vests i'd bought!) - $3 ( as part of a 3 for $10 share wif Anna)

6) Yellow t-shirt for Sam - $3

7) Black striped 3/4 pants - $5 down from $60

8) white belt w/blue spots - $1 down from $20

9) sparkly blue scarf/headscarf/tie/belt - $1!!!!! definately best buy! :D

lols we were soooo tired after walking around for nearly 4hrs... bought stirfry noodles to share on the way home...

met F and Elidh, awesome chickadees from my music class on their way home from tuition at flinders st station... if ur reading this Elidh, i followed ur advice! :D lols got back to Box hill at 7:30pm :P glad parents weren't mad...

then we had a quiet family dinner at 'Goldern Pond' chinese restaurant... very satisfied.

afterwards, I came home, took a Panadola in attempts to get rid of headache I had been ignoring all through my shopping day and plonted myself in front of the computer ready for some YouTube entertainment...

u can only imagine my dismay when I saw how SLOW our internet was moving (MSN was playing up so I couldn't sign in to complain to anyone!)... so second best option was to channel surf... and we are back to the beginning.

*sigh, its been such an amazing journey, this whole high school experience.  so many great memories, fantastic friends and blessings...

as u all hopefully know, i'm a Christian, i hope i've lived it out so u can see ^^ I don't always talk about my faith outside of church but I'm believing thats gonna change soon :) so, no entry would be complete without giving giving thanks to my awesome Friend who has been with my through it all, the good, bad, sad, happy, dark times.  Its been an amazing ride.  I guess this is, as some would say, the beginning of a new chapter in my life... I think its more like the beginning of a new book in the collection of 'Amy's life'. lols

I think my life until the end of high school was figuretively, book 1 and new I'm starting chapter one of the sequel in my life story!  lols kinda wierd way to think of it but it works for me! ^^ And before the next part of the story starts, i wanna first dedicate it all to my Creator, Saviour and Friend, Jesus.  You've given me so much, even when I don't deserve it, words can't explain how grateful I am that I know You, and am in Your family.

Thankyou for all you've done for me and all you're going to do in my life!  Can't wait to see whats installed for me from now on in! luv amy

~~~~ ok end of entry. so there a lil window into my life at the moment.  i couldn't sleep last night, so i stayed up writing a list of all the things i need/want to do, i also deleted ALL the smses on my phone.  I realised I'd been holding on to things that have no more meaning anymore, so the slate is wiped clean.  felt kinda numb afterwards but I guess its for the best.
anyhow, its 12:20pm on my first official day of freedom and all i've done is upgrade our net plan, spend ages trying to work out which site (xanga or msnspace or myspace) would be my offical blogging spot from now on and deleted heaps of junk mail! so i better get my butt moving! congrats to who ever read all of this entry.. I know it was freakishly long! probably over 1000 words... take care every1, and graduating yr 12 enjoy ur 3 months break! i'll keep u posted abt my holiday doings... ^^
much luv, amy xxoo
